IW: Rafa shows his shoes who’s boss

I so love the randomness of this video posted on Rafa’s Facebook account. Here’s his description:

De esta manera hago que los zapatos nuevos sean mas comodos y flexibles para jugar con ellos. Primero entreno y despues juego partido | This is the way I get new shoes to be more flexible and comfortable so I can wear them. I first use them for a warm up and then during the match.

Ah, it’s so glamorous being a tennis pro, no?

He also updated his status:

I am already in Miami after a few days almost “missing”. I practice today at 5.30 pm for two hours. As many of you know I arrived with an infection in my mouth caused by the wisdom tooth (?). I am feeling better now. Thanks for all your messages during Indian Wells. I was a bit sad to be honest!

Ya estoy en Miami despues de unos dias “casi” desaparecido. Hoy entreno a las 5.30 dos horas. Como muchos sabeis llegue y tuve un problema en una de las muelas del juicio. Hoy estoy mejor asi que espero estar bien mañana para mi partido. Gracias por todos los mensajes de apoyo en Indian Wells. Me quede algo triste, la verdad.

Juan Monaco put a video up on his Facebook account that shows off his perpetually erect nipples…oh, and Rafa. Check it out. (And no, I have no idea what they are saying, but I do love how Rafa finds something to fiddle with even when talking with a friend. It’s not just a presser thing.)
