US Open Draw
The US Open draw was performed today and I tried to follow along while at work. The top for divided up with Rafa/Murray in the top half; Nole/Federer in the bottom. The top quarter is Spanish heavy with Rafa, Ferrer and Verdasco. Rafa’s first match will be against Gabashvili.
Cincy draw
Yep, not finished with Toronto yet and there’s another draw to look out. The singles draw is here. Rafa’s first round will be against either a qualifier or Feliciano Lopez. Seeds in his quarter are Almagro, Cilic, and Berdych. Seeds in his half are Federer, Monfils, Ferrer and Davydenko. Seeds in the other half are Verdasco, Youzhny, Melzer, Murray, Soderling, Roddick, Ljubici and Djokovic.
RC: Doubles draw
The doubles draw is out. Rafa and Nole will face the Canadian wild-card team of Pospisil/Raonic in their first round match. If they make it through that, they take on the #5 seeded team Melzer/Petzschner who have a bye in the first round.
(And I see no mention of Marc! on the list. *sob*)
