IW doubles draw
The doubles draw is out and guess who’s on it? Yes! The cutest doubles team evah! Rafa and Marc! will team up to play the #3 seeds in the first round. It’ll be tough…can they do it? If they do and if Feli and Nando win their first round, they would play each other. The court might explode from the hotness.
Indian Wells draw
Ah…finally time for another RafaDraw before some RafaTennis. The draw for Indian Wells is out. Rafa’s in the bottom half of the draw. Rafa’s first match (in the second round) will be against a qualifier. The first seed he might come up against is Benneteau.
Australian Open draw
The draw for the 2010 Australian Open was announced today even if the promised live streaming feed was late and caused the tennis twitterverse to go into an all-caps fretful frenzy. Then, when they finally did stream, it kept buffering so that I couldn’t hear the line numbers and players. To make it worse, they didn’t show the draw sheet on the screen…so it was virtually impossible to follow. JMac’s shirt didn’t help matters. Bottom line: the other main seed
Doha draw
The singles and doubles draws are posted…and Rafa’s on both of them!
On the singles side, Rafa will face Bolelli in the first round. Seeded players in his half are Troicki, Youzhny, and Garcia-Lopez. Seeded players in the other half are Karlovic, Davydenko, Montanes and Federer. It’s actually a pretty nice draw for Rafa.
He and Marc! Lopez will be defending their doubles title. They will face 3rd seeds Fyrstenberg/Matowski in
WTF Draw
The WFT draw ceremony took place while I was snoozing away this morning. (I forgot to set the alarm clock – sue me.) To quote Rafa’s official site, it’s a “complicated” draw, but then again, should there be an easy one in the WTF? Here are the groups:
Paris doubles draw
The doubles draw is out and Rafa will be playing with Juan Monaco. They played together in Paris last year as well – getting to the QFs before Rafa had to pull out. You can see the draw here.
Paris draw
The draw for the Paris Masters is out. Seeds in Rafa’s quarter: Tsonga, Simon, and Robredo. Seeds in Rafa’s half: Davydenko, Soderling, Haas, and Djokovic. Seeds in the other half of the draw: Federer, Del Potro, Monfils, Cilic, Verdaso, Murray, Stepanek, and Gonzalez. All in all, it’s not a bad draw for him. Quite a few of the guys have been giving him the toughest time lately are
Shanghai draw
The draw is finally up. Rafa’s will play the winner of Blake/Karlovic for his first match. Seeds in his half are: Tsonga, Del Potro, Soderling, Verdasco, Monfils, Robredo, and Ferrer. Seeds on the other half of the draw are Djokovic, Roddick, Davydenko, Simon, Gonzalez, Cilic, Stepanek, and Haas.
China Open draw
The Men’s draw is out (despite my desire to sleep in on the weekend.) First up for Rafa is Baghdatis with a possible second round against Blake. Both wildcard entries are in Rafa’s half: Baghdatis and Safin. Seeded players in Rafa’s half are Davydenko, Gonzalez, and Cilic. Seeded players in the other half are: Djokovic, Roddick (defending champion), Verdasco, and Soderling.
