The transcript is up. No snark from me on this one – just amazement at what a level-headed and positive person he is.
Q. Could you give us your thoughts on today’s final.
RAFAEL NADAL: Well, he played unbelievable. I think in the beginning was unplayable I think this first set. I still having chances in the second, and the beginning of the third, so-so.
But, anyway, my thought is he played better than me, he beat me. I just can congratulate him for his

The last match of the year, the last title of the year…could it be more fitting that it comes down to the #1 vs. #2? That’s what we were presented with in the O2 this afternoon. To make it even more perfect, we got Mo in the chair. Both players held easily until the 7th game where Rafa wasn’t able to take advantage of a slight opening on Fed’s serve. In the 8th game, Rafa’s shots dropped short and Federer
…it’s almost time – are you ready?
Rafa updated his Facebook status and I think it’s a good reminder that no matter what happens today, he’s had an un-freaking believable year:
Preparandome para la final de esta tarde. Sera MUY dificil. Gracias a todos por el apoyo, los mensajes. Increible lo que estamos viviendo todos.
Getting ready for the final this afternoon. It will be VERY difficult. Thank you very much to all for all the messages, the support. It is unbelievable
Rafa’s semifinal presser is up.
Q. Give us your thoughts on today’s match.
RAFAEL NADAL: Yeah, I think was incredible tennis match, no? I think was very good level for both of us. I think Andy played at very good level almost all the time, and I was a little bit lucky in the beginning of the third with 1-0 for him and Love-30. He had two mistakes, very important mistakes for me in those moments because I was a little bit tired.
