Per statements on Facebook in French, Spanish and English, Rafa will not be playing in the Paris Masters tournament.

The Paris draw will take place Friday at 6:30pm local time. According to the tournament site, we’ll be able to follow the draw live online.

Based on the picture, I think we now know the true reason he pulled out of the tournament: severe hair strain.

Rafa withdraws from Paris [Updated]
Citing tendinitis in his left shoulder, Rafa has withdrawn from the 2010 Paris Masters. He needs to rest for a few days and says the injury is nothing to be worried about. He will spend time doing physiotherapy to prepare for the World Tour Final.
