Looks like it was a pretty close match, but Rafa and Verdasco lost 3-6, 7-6(5), 8-10 to the #1 seeds in the a very late Montreal quarterfinal that took place very early Saturday morning.

Well, now Rafa can really head to Cincy.

More hard court practice, even though we couldn’t see it and it was after midnight – was a good thing, hopefully. Though Rafa might be disappointed (if it was cause he couldn’t hold serve) – still amazing that they almost beat best doubles team of all time at that late hour and after he had just lost a match. I find that encouraging.
