In a match that had to be moved from a televised court to one that lacked cameras, Rafa/Marc! lost to #3 seeds Nestor/Paes by the score of 6-7(3), 4-6 at Queen’s Club today. While it’s sad Rafa’s not going to get more match practice, there’s no dishonor in losing to a team of excellent doubles players like Nestor and Paes. (Although, I think it was Rafa who was broken while serving for the first set – which continues a troubling trend.) Guessing Rafa’s off to Mallorca for a few days of vacation before he heads to Wimbledon.
