Hello Miri…I’m green with envy that you get to watch Rafa play. I’m in Miami on business and the hotel where I’m staying doesn’t carry the Tennis channel, would appreciate full video of his upcoming matches. Thank you so much!
Typical. The only time Rafa was scheduled to play early evening in the UK his opponent Mayer has pulled out. Lol.
I have been looking forward to watching him all day. Walkover good for Rafa in a way but I wonder if another match under his belt would help him before he plays preferably Seppi rather than the in form Gulbis then probably Federer. Oh well at least I can have an early night.
My son and I played hooky for the day and drove all the way out to Indian Wells from Orange County to see Rafa play only to arrive in time to hear the announcement in the stadium as we were about to find our seats that the match was cancelled. My heart sank. It was my only chance to see Rafa this year so I don’t even know how to describe my disappointment. Watching Feli and Daveed play soccer on the green was small consolation. Watched the Seppi/Gulbis match. The kid is playing well so I’m a little nervious for Rafa since he hasn’t had much match time on hard courts. Will be watching that one from home. Damn you, tennis gods.
How disappointing. I know how you feel, it’s happened to me before. The chances to get to see him are rare especially in the UK as we only have the opportunity twice,Wimbledon and WTF and it can be difficult to get tickets too. You get so fired up only to then feel deflated but that’s sport where anything can happen.
I hope you still had a good time at IW.
It was a beautiful sunny day and I spent it with my son so I will channel my inner Rafa and declare that it would be unseemly to complain with such blessings.
rafa got a walk over, sadly because he was deprived of an important practice in hard court.it would ve been helpful while facing roger in qf.i believe any rusting due to inactivity does more harm than good esp., when all other competitors are getting valuable practice to move up.rafa, cheer up. bring back YOUR Game of acopulco final game to thrill the crowd & i am certain you ll lift iw trophy of 2013.good luck
Well, I was really looking forward to the Mayer match too. But, hey Rafa plays Gulbis tonight. That Gulbis has been saying that he has the tools to beat Rafa and that he will go for the corners, blah blah. I love this talk from Gulbis as it will fire Rafa up and we know how brilliant our Rafa is when he is fired up!!!. So be scared, Gulbis be very scared!!!. As if Rafa will allow him to play the way he wants for a whole match!!. I can’t wait for this match later on. Will stay up for it as I am dying to see Rafa play as we haven’t seen him play for a few days now. Will Sky Sports show the match though?, as someone noted on the chat box that Murray will be playing the same time, different court. I hope that Rafa’s match will be done before Murray’s or some divine intervention please. I cannot take another livestream. Vamos Rafa!!!

Sharon my sentiments exactly.
The wo is disappointing, but judging from his tweet Rafa seems unfazed. He’s good at accepting what can’t be changed. Wish I was!
i wish the same, Ramara–that’s one of the reasons I love him so much: so wise!!
