Thanks for the match – great to watch the whole thing.
Pretty much a perfect match for Rafa at this stage. We don’t want him winning anything too easily as he needs as much match time as he can get. It’s great to see him challenged and have to *find* his game to win. Especially if he does find it and win. Well done Rafa! Keep it up buddy!
Thanks for the link; with this kind of high quality full matches being available online and in an effort to preserve my nerves, I’ll probably not watch Rafa’s matches live and wait for the online upload!
Rafa did what he had to do at this stage; he showed flashes of brilliance and also signs of rust but he got the job done. Good for him to win in straight sets since Harrison can be a tough cookie; he gave Fed and Murray tough matches (or at least sets) in the past.
Now the major worry is Gulbis; he’s playing scary tennis at the moment and if both he and Rafa make it to the fourth round and both players keep their current form, he may be the favorite to win. REALLY hope I’m wrong and that Rafa will dramatically improve by then, though!
Thanks for the video link Miri! It’s great to watch the match knowing the score! Hope you’re having lots of fun!
Many thanks for the video link Miri. Indian Wells is a lovely place to be – enjoy the tennis especially that of our Rafa.
