Otra conferencia de prensa riquísima por parte de Rafael Nadal. Respuestas que vienen de su cabeza y de su corazón
— Juan Ceballos (@JuaniCeballos) March 1, 2013
Another good presser by Rafa, full of answers that come from his head & his heart
Then, when the video stream started rolling, she offered up more translations:
Rafa points out that these 3 matches in Acapulco are almost the first matches he’s been able to play in good condition. That’s the good new!
Rafa says that he’s known how to suffer in the match when Mayer was serving & playing better.
The best news is that as the tournament has advanced, the knee has gone better & better, instead of getting worse. Very happy about that.
Rafa’s asked about the calendar, whether he knows how he’ll organize his schedule taking some weeks off. Rafa says is not a question of…
… taking some weeks off. The problem is the length of the season. He thinks the recent shortening by the end of the season could be enough
…. if together with that there was a two-year-ranking. If that ranking was in place, he & any long injured player wouldn’t go down in…
…the ranking, as he assumes he’ll go down in a few weeks. He reminds a few months ago many players agree w/it…
…but for some reasons didn’t go ahead.

Dear Miri….would appreciate a full match video of quarterfinal vs mayer…I missed it…thanks!
Very happy to read the knee is getting better as he’s playing more matches!
Great news to all people who love Rafa. A most welcome development indeed!!!Vamos Rafaaaaaa!!!! :P
Good to hear that Rafa is enjoying his tennis – to me that’s the most important thing. Good luck for the match against Almagro. I really hope that he will win this match as this would give his confidence a real boost. Great to know that his knee is getting better.
Vamos our Rafa.
Rafa thinks Almagro is favourite to win :D.. joke of the century :) has he ever accepted in any match that he is the favourite to win :)
I will watch Rafa tonight at the ungodly hour in the UK but I must him I have missed him all work. So will wake up for it later tonight. I am also glad to hear that Rafa is enjoying his tennis and the knee is getting better! Great news.
I think that Rafa looks so refreshed since he has come back on the tour. He is smiling more and really looking more revitalised. I am so happy to see this as I think that Rafa lost a lot of confidence with all those Djokovic matches and the Rosol coupled with the knee injury. Rafa’s passion is shining brightly once more and that is what I have waited for. Rafa smiled so much in that presser after Mayer match. His smile is so beautiful that we do not have enough words to describe it. I can’t wait to watch my first Rafa match in Acapulco tonight. Almagro is a step up for Rafa and winning it would be great for our Rafa! Vamos Rafa! You can do it.
I will wake up at an ungodly hour to watch Rafa tonight! Vamos Rafa.
