I totally forgot the draw for the Brazil Open was today! Man, it’s going to take some time to get used to this non-stop draw/tennis thing. I’m sure none of us will mind, though. Rafa’s playing doubles and singles in Sao Paulo. For his partner, he picked his second Argentinian in as many tournaments: David Nalbandian. Here are links to the draws:

Doubles

Rafa will start his singles by playing the the winner of a match between Hildago and a qualifier. Seeds in his half are Ramos, Chardy and Bellucci. Seeds in the other have are Andujar, Monaco, Fognini and Almagro.

In doubles, Rafa and Nalby start off by playing Andujar/Garcia-Lopez.

Vamos!

I think it’ll be great to see Rafa playing dubs with Nalby. Wonder if they’ve played together before? *leaves to go find answers*

I think compared to chile the quality of the players in Brazil is more loaded so this would be a great measure of how Rafa’s progress.
