Happy New Year, everybodyguys! Will (or did) you have your 12 grapes to get the new year started? I’m going to give this a try tonight…but with red grapes instead of green. After all, I don’t have any gifted red undies. :D
Since this site debuted on January 1, 2009, we are leaving our toddler years behind and celebrating our 4th birthday.
A new year and a birthday? This calls for a contest. Albeit a very small contest.

Thanks for keeping the faith and the love for our man Rafa esp. during these tough times for him (and for us fans.) I owe you all an apology for the fact that I’m reluctant in posting comments despite reading everything that goes on here . I’ve been an ardent reader of the world of tennis and whatever I read, I find people quarrelling or fighting over petty issues such as favouritism or hatred , records statistics etc . While I’ve seen fans from all camps not being so nice to others , when I log in here and read the comments , it really soothes my mind. Maybe that could be because this is a fan site but I strongly believe that the Rafans out here would be polite to even those who hate Rafa Nadal and do not have good words for him . These people are a little ignorant and could possibly have other favourites but as a Rafan , I believe , it’s a responsibility to be nice to one and all . Be polite even to the haters who could often be rude . Rafa has set an example for us all . Today the world knows him for all his accomplishments but the foundation for his success lies within the innate love he has for his team and family . His success , isn’t his alone , it’s a victory for all of team Nadal. The power of love can make the impossible seem routine . Love even those who despise you <3 . This is something I've learnt from Rafa Nadal over the years apart from doing your very best at everything you do . Being humourous at times can also do us a world of good . You gotta live every moment of your life as it were special and treasure it just the way Rafa plays every point like it were his last .
As our beautiful little world has completed another orbit around a star , I'd like to wish an ecstatic new year to all Rafans , all tennis fans , and even the non tennis fans . May our world prosper :)
Each time , I log in here , I find it difficult to follow each and every detail that lies within every single post . This makes me realise the painstaking efforts it could possibly have taken to compile all the information and then sharing it here in an exquisite way collectively not for oneself , but for the sake of all others . This devotion of yours has gradually made me fond of you Miri . I am now in love with your work Miri but I'm a little concerned about the hours you spend doing all this . If you really love it , I hope you carry on the good work , but if otherwise , feel free to choose otherwise Miri ,you too have a life to lead :). I don't know how to thank you
I hope Rafa fully recovers and he doesn't have to suffer physically . Even if he doesn't play a single match , his legacy as arguably the greatest player is now secure . I just pray that he doesn't have to go through the pain again . It's been too great a cost for greatness. Apart from loving him , lets also learn from him the passion for one's profession , the bond of love we must share with our kin . Lets make sure the shining example Rafa has set does not go in vain .
