- The cover of “Quality Sport” – Inés is trying to find a copy of this. Per her, the title translates to: “Or you stop or you’ll never be number 1 again”. (It was also posted to Twitter – in case the Facebook doesn’t work for anyone.)
- Sony Open’s future at Crandon Park Tennis Center in the hands of Miami-Dade County voters – includes a quote from Rafa.

Random:
- Sports partnership with Spain up – seems to be some sort of agreement between Fillipino and Spanish sporting groups that will allow athletes from the Philippines to train in Spain.

I really hope the Philipines can learn a lot from Spain and really develop very good tennis players with this sports partnership. Rafa has lots of fans my home country!!!
hope so too, Jms. i’m one of those fans!
Loved the video. Doesn’t Rafa look gorgeous! :)))))
He looks better than ever. Nice to see that beautiful smile.
The close-up photos of Rafa at the footy kick-off are just gorgeous….I have to say, I think Benito and Team Nadal are doing a marvellous job of keeping Rafa in the spotlight all this time, with his appearances at different events and video interviews and so on. It makes me rather cross and sadly resentful that the commies nowadays talk about him as if he’s gone for good, or at least that’s how it comes across to me from Sky Sports, instead of just a temporary absence while his injuries heal. I just can’t wait for him to return to the tour and shake up the dreary tennis world to its core and show them he is most definitely back.
Yes I’m fed up with all the bad press “Rafa’s finished” “Rafa will never be no 1 again” “Rafa will not be back” etc…. I only ever read on here or Rafa’s Facebook. They will be eating their words when he returns and reaches his awesome best. If he can play the sensational tennis of 2011 while suffering pain god help the other guys on the tour when he is fit and healthy. Tennis needs Rafa, it needs the anticipation ,thrilling exciting atmosphere that only he brings to the court. I can’t wait.
You said it perfectly, Sharon.
Meant 2012
“Very nice photos from Rafa’s recent footie appearance.” You were NOT. KIDDING. He looks absolutely GORGEOUS!! Agree with you, JayDee50, that Team Rafa is doing a good job getting him out there in the public eye–I also think all this is keeping his spirits up, plus giving us a taste of the marvelous things to come when his tennis days ARE over—which is NOT YET. Vamos Rafa! cannot wait for the Aussie Open.
