RafaLint: September 29th
Ack! So far behind on lint. Sorry, everyone. But I did use Rafa as an inspiration for my walk this morning.
Rafa lends his support to the Special Olympics:
Even better, go see the video on Vimeo where you can download a high-quality version for your archives.

- Oh, and it seems he’s digging around YouTube for videos of himself.
- And here’s a very dark photo of Rafa at home hanging with friends. Well, a friend. Oh, another took the photo? So yes, friends.

Thanks for digging all this RAFA lint up.
It really helps being able to read about him and see pictures and videos since we are not being able to see him play at this time. Love the funny pictures and posts on Facebook and some of his funny comments. Never change cookiepants!!
This is Rafa’s message in the Special Olympics video where he appears alone:
“In the silence of the locker room, I feel my heart beating & think how hard it has been to get here. The effort helped me move forward. The willingness that defeated the ‘You can’t, I can’t’. I am who I am. Someone like you, special. Sport makes us alike… special”
For some reason, the Special Olympics video was deleted and re-uploaded. I’ve updated the link and embed.
Good to here Rafa could be back on the practice court in 10 to 15 days. Positive news, lets hope the knee pain has disappeared .
Concerning the Rafa “Homework” photo do we know which cousins these are ? They look a bit different from Tony’s kids-maybe because they are standing still and not on the move, they might look different, but what an attractive family this is !!
These are the kids of Rafa’s eldest uncle, whose name is also Rafael (here sitting between Rafa and his father):
