Wow, “Eleven LARGE under his belt! Rafa, you’re amazing! Even Federer can’t beat that! :D

  2. Avril says:

About the shirt “love me 2 times”…
    Yeah Miri, that’s enough…
2 times are for NOW n FOREVER… More than enough, no? :)

It’s great news that Rafa has once again qualified for the World Tour Finals. He has mentioned before that the Race to London points are the ones he’s most interested in. It’s great for me too as I’ve already bought my tickets, so Rafa, please look after yourself and those poor knees of yours as I would so love to see you play at the O2 again this year. Fingers crossed!

  4. Pearl Jackson says:

I too am very happy that Rafa will be at the O2 again this year.
My Son and Daughter have bought me tickets for my birthday present and I am looking forward to seeing Rafa “in the flesh”.
Get well Rafa and please stay well until November…xx

  5. Nils says:

I reaally reaally don’t blame people for liking Rafa ;)
Glad to see he tops the list. The article regarding him being an inspiration to Murray is a nice read. Eleven ‘large’. :P HAhaahaha!!!

  6. Kathy says:

Ha, at least this fish looks better than the crazy looking one he posted last time! Eleven “large”–don’t get me started!
That tee looks so vintage as it is from the Doors’ song. Maybe Feli gave it to him and Rafa has no clue what an uproar it could cause if he starts wearing it out to clubs, etc!! He is so funny. Looks so cute and relaxed with his sunnys and hat, having fun with his friends.

Prayers for him to recover and be able to compete in the Olympics. It means so much to him. Unfortunately they play at Wimby where the weather sucks and they close the roof all the time—big advantage for Fed as we saw Sunday when they closed it–he really took off on Andy then.
Whatever, what will be will be and what matters, as Rafa says, is that you try your best, no?

    • Karen says:

We’ll just have to hope Rafa’s fit & healthy enough to compete at the Olympics & that it’s hot & sunny the whole time. It can’t keep raining until it starts & then right through the first week otherwise the grass won’t have regrown. Remember Wimbly 2009 when the new roof wasn’t needed at all? It’s bound to happen again.

    • Sharon/London says:

yes if Fed gets to play under the roof he will have a good chance of a gold medal , only difference best of 3 sets until the final.

i was annoyed the rain came in the Final cos Andy was the better player fot the 1st 2 sets but as soon as the roof was closed i knew that Fed would win. Shame, and he was so smug in his interviews, so up his own a**e.

Let him enjoy his moment in the limelight as he wont stay there for long. He is past winning slams consistantly and he has lots of points to defend.

      • Julie says:

“he was so smug…” Really, more than usual I thought. When the interviewer referred to his play as “genious” he agreed, saying “Yes” and went on to talk about how great he played…he might have at least begun with “thank you very much…” as Rafa usually does, but that is just one way in which they are different…

  7. An says:

I’d be perfectly happy to love you 1 time only Rafa, but iff you’ll insist on 2 times thats ok too!! ( Any number will do, ok? Just give me a call! ) ;)

  8. sia says:

There is nothing better than a photo of Rafa holding a fish!! Ha ha ha he just looks so happy :)

  9. RafaRocks says:

I caught a fish once, but it was odd and poisonous, (much like Soderling), though Rafa seems to have been rather more succesful. I’m at the point where I appreciate Rafa’s attitude so much that his winning would simply be a bonus to me.

As a resonably talented sportsman myself, I cannot think of a better person to learn from than Rafael Nadal, though being as delusional as Fed could have its upsides…
