a nice collection of the images from the strange and challanging match. Oye vey!
Love ‘em photos. Rafa’s most expressive emotions so far during a match (not counting the massive emotion in RG after the win, that is a different level). I love Air Rafa and Tools of the trade:) Thanks Miri! Vamos Rafa!
I love all the captions! Hilarious! especially Caught in Rosol’s web..and Be Nice grass..:o)
Love all the emo pics of RAFA. Just ran into a spoiler who was on the best day of his life on a day RAFA was below par. Even as he waits at the net for Rosols to finish his celebration, RAFA has a rather bemused look on his face, perhaps recalling his own celebrations when he won big. Anyway-hope he is enjoying his time at home and looking forward to his Olympic experience!
Love him win or lose for well respected man he has become.
Awww, Rafa and his towels have such special relationships nowadays. Love it!
Does anyone know what the “10″ signifies at the back of Rafa’s shoes?
I may be wrong, but it should be 11, signifying Rafa’s 11 Grand Slam. Maybe when they (Nike) exclusively designed the shoes, Rafa had 10 Grand Slam under his belt/tennis racquet:)At RG, he had a 6 at his shoe, it will be a 7 in 2013.
“10″ for his Wimbly title in 2010 and on the reverse side of his shoes “08″ for Rafa´s title in 2008.
Whoops! I was wrong then. Sorry! Thank you for enlightening us with the info.
When Rafa took that tumble towards the net post I was very alarmed. It reminded me of James Blake’s terrible fall where he hit his head on the post and broke his neck. Rafa missed the post by about a foot. A little scary!
Love the pics, Miri. Thanks!
