RafaLint: June 25th
Rafa starts his Wimbledon bid tomorrow second on Centre Court. His match follows the Amanmuradova/Kvitova match which starts at 1pm local time.
(Super quick lint tonight. It’s been a stressful day and I’ve spent all evening unsuccessfully trying to find the stuff my mom’s friend needs for his PT.)
This? Is hilarious:
Tennis player Jimmy Wang found Rafa’s tournament credential and took a photo before turning it into lost and found.

Gee, I had thought Rafa keeps all tennis-related stuff organised and near him. Obviously not!
I think its funny how Toni Nadal compares Spanish football to Federer’s tennis. Haha! I love Spain’s passing in football but wish they’ll play a more attacking game. Rooting for them in Euro 2012. Vamos Espana and Rafa!
Rafa was so adorable in the Canal+ video. Damn, I need to learn spanish..though at the speed with which he speaks I doubt my simply learning Spanish will help!! Can anyone tell me where I can get the video with subtitles?
“Things have been going very well all of this year, we have to try to keep on the same line of play and of mentality and a little bit of everything, no?, things have been going maybe better than expected, good work has been done and the good results and sensations have followed. It’s hard to say something negative about Wimbledon, no?, the place is the best tennis club in the world, without any doubt, everything is beautiful, you can see how everything is spotless. The only negative thing is the sky (giggles) is many times very cloudy, and it’s tough. Now, it’s the most complex surface because you can’t… first, you don’t have much time to prepare for a tournament like this, second, points many times are very short, you’ve got no time to be able to prepare the point, but honestly, almost always I’ve adapted well, it’s a surface I enjoy playing on. It’s important to always get through the first matches, no?, when you go through the first matches then you are finding yourself more, like, comfortable and you play in a more normal way. At the beginning everything happens faster and it tougher to be able to play a regular tennis”.
