I watched the match on live stream, and even though the commie was not speaking in English, Rafa did brought out adjectives which included excellente, wooooahhh and some other admiration sounds. I have to say Rafa did look tired. The energy was not there. Well he should be, after two weeks of high crazy intense pressure in the French Open, winning it, got a watch stolen, got it back, rain delay yada yada yada. I thought it was honorable of Rafa to keep his word to the fans in Germany, the place was packed to see The Nadal. So the defeat was good (sounds so wrong here) and Rafa was seen photographed near a pond with ducks at the background before flying home. Rest well, I’m sure the German fans were happy Rafa was in Halle. They get to see him play 3 matches. Rafa has never been to my country. Vamos Rafa:)
Thanks Miri for the pics! The one where Boris eyes Rafa is eerily scary lol. Love #22 maybe it’s the fingers….. ;)
Rafa looked tired and clearly gave all the energy he had, but the past couple months have caught up with him. Hope a few days off helps him regroup his energy and tired body.
Love love love: #22 that’s a great shot of Rafa, equally love #26 – the one with Boris, i think that’s really sweet – great expression from both of them.
And #12 – think a lot of people like that one, i’ve seen it in numerous articles around the place.
Quite like: #7 & #21 – he was trying to step up his level & get into the match. Couldn’t quite do it. I agree that he was probly tired, couldn’t get the concentration needed to match Kohlschreiber’s high level.
LOL: #15!! #19
Even in defeat he is incredible, he needs the rest and hats off for bothering to go anyway! the ever dedicated Nadal to his fans.. Time for some much deserved down time Rafa!
