Halle: The draw

The draw for Halle is out. (I KNOW! We aren’t even done with Roland Garros. Tennis is a beast.) Rafa is in both the singles and doubles draws.

In singles, Rafa will face the winner of a match between Lukas Lacko and a qualifier after his first round bye. Seeds in Rafa’s half are: Kohlschreiber, Berdych, and Granollers. Seeds in the bottom half of the draw include Seppi, Dolgopolov, Raonic, and Federer.

Rafa’s doubles partner will be Granollers. They will face Mertinak and Troicki in the first round.

Vamos!

“Tennis is a beast” so true

Hope Granollers has that grunt under control.

Ambitious to play singles and doubles, essentially next day. Guess Rafa would start singles play on Wednesday, and doubles Tuesday perhaps. Tight, tight schedule in prep for Wimby. Hope he can recover in that short period of time, flying to Germany and all. I know he doesn’t expect to win the tournament, but just wants experience on grass. Last year Halle had no stars, this year 2. Feast or famine for them.

Halle not televised in the UK as they are covering Queen’s so woud be grateful if they are posted on here to watch or if anyone knows where else I will be able to see his matches.

Tennis calendar is certainly crammed at times. Rafa may arrive there late ,there’s talk of RG final possibly being played on Monday as heavy rain forecast all day Sunday.

    I really, really, R E A L L Y hope that Rafa comes to Halle!!!
French rain drives me crazy :(

I waited soooooo long for Rafa to come to “me” (I’m living only 10km away from the stadium)and I couldn’t stand the dissapointment of a refusal :(

    I hate this uncertainty . . .
