I remember the big one, the year he turned 21. Oh man, has it really been five years? Can’t believe that much time has gone by. Love the last photo. That big relaxed smile.

Maybe I’ve gotten carried away with my fandom; I actually welled up looking at these photos as if I were looking at my own son! Time passes so quickly and they’re all grown up before you know it. Part of me wishes he could stay like this forever.
I feel the same way. We have been watching him grow from a boy to a man and I want him to stop now….like Peter Pan! Not really I guess….I just love watching him play and enjoy the person he is and has beome. As proud as I would be of my own child. We are beyond help, us Rafa fans!!!

The Facebook one was at midnight with his team and family. The ones above are from one today that the tournament put on. He got more cake at Stade2 too!

The tournament makes it a yearly effort to get him a cake! Which I think is so cool. I soooo loved the birthday wishes from his colleagues on “Road to Roland Garros”
Bjorn Borg’s birthday is on 6th june – read that somewhere. Dunno is RG made a cake for him every year, though.
