Gee, that’s a lot of work after winning the tournament. Couldn’t they let him have his shower before doing all these. It was cute how Rafa hugged the little boy who was following him, when he nearly knocked him over. And I saw at 1.36, Rafa seemed to have problem coming down from the stage, as if he couldn’t quite bend his knee. That made me very sad.
Hope Rafa and team had a good celebration. They totally deserve it!

  2. Aini says:

Rafa hugging that boy, was the highlight of the video..so sweet..

    • sharon says:

That was his little cousin, wasn’t it? Toni’s youngest boy? Looked like him and looked like it was someone familiar enough with Rafa to think it was perfectly natural to follow him around. :)

  3. Julie says:

I like Pagliaro’s ending comment about Rafa’s win: “He created another clay-court casualty today…”

Nice to hear someone say Rafa “created” the win rather than discounting it with an asterisk. Rafa brought an effective game plan to the court that quite likely would have resulted in victory regardless of Nole’s situation…IMO.

  4. eva says:

Aww, I want that woman’s job…the one who tidies up Rafa before he sits in front of the cameras.

  5. Kris K says:

Ummmmm… there’s something about the picture in the Racquet Reaction article… I can’t take my eyes off it. They had to know, didn’t they?

  6. June says:

Love Rafa’s hair & smile in “Fan Video” doing a TV interview – he looks on top of the world as he should be after that win!

  7. Annie says:

The imaginations of some of you! Kris K, you must not have seen Rafa after he won the AO in 09!

Someone tweeted there was a survey on MTF’s, which I don’t read, listing the players with the most, um, ‘action in the undies’ for lack of a better way to phrase it.

Gilles Simon won hands down, followed by Pico!
