The draw for Monte-Carlo is out: web version; pdf. After a first round bye, Rafa will play the winner of the Stepanek/Nieminen match. Seeds in his quarter include Mayer, F Lopez, and Almagro. Seeds in his half include Tsonga, Verdasco, Simon, and Tipsarevic. Seeds in the other half are Djokovic, Murray, Ferrer, Berdych, Nishikori, Melzer, Monaco, and Dolgopolov.

Hi all. It’s nearly 1am English time and the order of play for Wed as far as I can find is still not up – very unusual. Does anyone know when Rafa will be playing tomorrow! Thanks. Do I wake and drop down tools at 9.30am? I expect Rafa wouldn’t be happy with that as a first round match since his beloved Real Madrid lost the first round of their two match by 2 1 – let’s hope he didn’t commiserate too late.
The schedule for Wednesday is on the Monte Carlo site. Rafa plays after Novak whose match is at noon.
