RafaLint: April 10th
My copy of the 2011 Davis Cup book arrived today. I haven’t had time to dig into, but they already had me as a fan with the cover.
Apparently people on twitter got frazzled and excited about a post on Rafa’s Facebook (that, it seems, only people in Spain can see) that looks like a want-ad from him trying to sell his car – including a phone number to call for more info. I’m assuming it’s a KIA promotion/contest and hope we’ll find out more later.

Thanks Miri, some nice stuff here. I love the photos of Rafa and the capybaras!
Thanks Miri! Really looking forward to the clay court season but slightly nervous too as Rafa will have so much pressure to win everything (including from us fans)and retain his King of Clay title. I do so hope he does. Vamos Rafa!
Miri, I like the cover of the Davis Cup book too!
I wonder if Serena Williams will truly shine during the clay season. Makes the WTA a wee bit more interesting.
There’s nothing like the clay season. Where we can see Rafa slide and dance on clay! And where he is expected to win almost every tournament, not to mention that slam. I’m really looking forward to Monte Carlo but I get short of breath when I think of so many points and expectations Rafa has to defend and meet. Good thing Rafa is made of better stuff than me. Vamos everybodyguys!
I had to look really closely to find Rafa in that “downtime” photo. Glad to see that girlfriend has a Doppelgänger, though. Always handy. ;)
Unrecognizable! You thin he went to the hair-dresser maybe?;)
Thanks Miri…loved the capybara photos! LOL.
I guess with 32 clay titles Rafa has a ways to go to beat Muster (40 titles) and Villas (45). Hopefully by the 2014 season!!
If Rafa ran around and played a bunch of 250 tournaments he could beat Muster and Vilas’ records in one season. Rafa’s wins are in much higher ranked tournaments so there really is no comparison.
I would rather have Rafa stay healthy and win more Slams, than beat other records..:o)
