    Thanks Miri.

Rafa is adorable. I can’t wait for his tennis.

sorry did i forget my name again.

  2. Ginny says:

Just watched all of the clips and enjoyed them so much even though I didn’t understand most of them!! Is that crazy or what?

  3. Nana says:

I don’t understand a thing but from the expressions the audience seem to talk about Rafa like a friend/neighbour. I can begin to understand why Rafa says he’s treated like a normal person at home while we wonder why because of the attention he gets. I think the difference is that elsewhere there will be squealing and gushing and other frantic actions but his people are calm although they do admire him and are proud of him.

  4. CC says:

OMG. Rafa’s dress sense makes him look like some kind of weird mix between my 65-year-old dad and an older Antonio Banderas. And the HAIR?! It must have been rainy in Mallorca that day. Rafa, Rafa, Rafa…I don’t know how much more I can take of this.
Apart from that, he is of course adorable. Not that I understand what they’re talking about, but in my imagination they are disscussing favourite sexual positions. I think that’s why Rafa’s laughing a bit shyly at times. No?

    • nolanola says:

Was he wearing two jackets? At first I thought it was some Armani double-lapel thing, but when he stood up, it looked like another jacket hanging below the hem of a top one.

The hair got better as he ran his hands through it. Love my darling dork.

  5. RAFAFAN says:

Not sure I like the ‘out of shower’ hair. Otherwise, admirable!

  6. Emmanuelle says:

Thanks Miri for the videos :)

I love the video about the private plane. I don’t understand anything but I do love his expressive gestures ! :) It seems to be funny, I so would like to understand.

Why do they all want to put so much gel in his hair ? Weird…

  7. killian says:

I, too, love watching/hearing him speak Mallorquin! So beautiful and natural and expressive! Maybe that’s all we need to understand? :-D

And I am the lonely voice crying out for LONG HAIR. I miss the long hair.

  8. Bebe says:

CC, you’re too funny. Did you figure out which position was his absolute favorite? LOL.

I, too love to hear him speak Mallorquín, killian. I wonder what the heck “Golemica” means. I keep thinking of the word “polemic” and wonder if it’s at all related. Can’t seem to find a malloquín dictionary online that will tell me. Oh well.

    • Emmanuelle says:

I think it’s a word play between “Gol” and “polémica”. But I think it’s not a show based on “polemics”. It’s a sport program on IB3.

    • nolanola says:

This is not really very helpful, but I was curious too. Going through lots of links, it appears that mica means little, and gole could mean score against or thrash.

I would not bet on this, but it could fit. (Note that mica could also be a small monkey or a chamberpot. And another alternative is “some sips”) Anyway, it was fun searching.

  9. Nic says:

I so love Rafa speaking in Mallorquin. It’s just other worldly. And all the rolling of the rrrrr’s. I wouldn’t be able to get by! I couldn’t stop staring at the hair and willing it to dry off. And btw, love him being called Rafel too :)

    • sharon says:

It drives me crazy at how many people mispronounce Rafael. It’s not Raf-ay-ell. You don’t pronounce Michael as Mike-ay-ell.

I love watching his body language when he gets yakking away. His hands are so expressive as is that eyebrow and those dimples. He’s so adorkable.

  10. Julie says:

Thanks for the videos! What a pleasure to watch Rafa’s gestures and hear his voice in Mallorquin. The hair, however, was not the best look…Not sure what the stylist was trying to achieve…No matter, he’s just so engaging and beautiful to observe.

  11. faeaki says:

Yes, engaging is excatly what he is Julie, not sure about the suit though mmmm chuckle chuckle.

  12. Ch F says:

OMG bad hair day doesn’t even begin to describe it…

  13. June says:

Try golemica.com/facebook. Regarding his hair, it’s something that when he was younger, it was so straight & now it’s curly. Maybe he got a perm once upon a time. It looks very dry to me – maybe it’s over-processed from too many color applications perhaps? Don’t shampoo your hair Rafa, use Wen to cleanse your hair & condition it at the same time. It’s expensive but a fabulous hair product.
