Ok it’s pretty late here … but I have tomorrow off.
Thanks miri. Guess what I’ll be doing?
My day is booked by the look of that Rafa lint.
Thanks for keeping us happy thru the off-season.
Bet you’re still having DC tingles. :)
Oh, Marc! is so cute. He’s really growing on me. His dancing’s not half bad…
Glad you are safely home Miri and thank you for an indcredible abount of lint in short order.
The photo of Rafa and Daveeed on this posting is one of my all time favorites.
I found a youtube of the entire Rafa vs Del Potro match, the streaming cuts out a bit (maybe just my problem) in the fourth match, but here is the link for others who may be interested.
Thanks, miri! Now get some rest!!!
That first article from as.com, Rafa says he prepared for 30 straight days for this final! So that’s what he was doing instead of the Paris Masters? He said he was “working on things to help him next year” – and certainly an aggressive backhand passing shot would help!
I know in 2008 he certainly rated the DC final much higher than the WTF, as in he’d have cheerfully tossed that tournament in the sea if he could only be fit to play DC. I wasn’t at all sure that was still the case, but maybe it was.
Four days since the last match and already I’m getting the itch for more Rafa tennis!

Hi all. it might already be explained so forgive me but got this from nadal news tweets. Can anyone explain why the knee is taped and when it happened?
It might very well explain the first set and all those short balls, but then again its a worry with another Rafa injury/knee tenaititis problem. Rather that we didn’t know this and it was just a bad day at the office!
Sorry posted into the other thread – not sure which one to put it into
Heh. Heh, heh. That first of the dorky dance clips is hilarious, especially when Rafa and Marc! start fondling each other. Love the fact that they seem to have practised dance routines. Guess that’s what they do when they’re together in that big house in Mallorca, trying not to get scared of the dark. :)
Yep, its hillarious. Must admit that i quite like seeing Rafa this way for once… Even dorky and hammered he is sexy as hell!
And thanks for the immage, how am i suppose to lose the tought off Rafa an Marc! holding on to each other, afraid off the dark? :)
Heh, he is completely rat arsed, no? And bald. But that’s fine. I’m dealing with it. ;)
It’s just a bit of thinning, it won’t get any worse right?;)
It’s actually worse up close an in person. That “part” is very, very wide at the back of his head.
Oh, to have been that up close and in person with Rafa… *sighs* (No, I’m not jealous. Not in the slightest.;))
Too bad! It was visible in the vid at the back of his head, but I thought maybe I was seeing things. Too much angst (for luck of a better word), I suppose.
Rafa’s balding patterns are not unlike Albert Costa’s. Rafa’s working very hard at the combover, but eventually I think he’ll have to take another approach, sadly.
Oh dear. I noticed his thinning hair for the first time at last year’s US Open and started to worry for him. Then it seemed like the spot was looking better, which I attributed to his taking some kind of hair growth medication. Perhaps it was the clever combover all along? In any case, I still love you, Rafa! Hair or no hair, you’ll always be beautiful.
L, it probably will get worse yes…. But to comfort you, most man who grow bold at that spot off the head will never grow completly bold.
And for me its fine too! With a body and an arse like that, i’ll take the hair however it comes with it!;)
Huh, and rat arsed CC…. Never heard off that expression before, you had me puzzled :D
But yes, he so was!;)
I read that there are special dance moves that go specifically with the song:)
That’s fine too. As long as Rafa and Marc! practice them together, I’m happy. ;)
There is L, I’ve been doing them repeatedly for about 4 days now!
“Ai Se Eu Te Pego…….thrust!”
“That’s fine too. As long as Rafa and Marc! practice them together, I’m happy. ;)”
Me, No! Wanna be present!;)
Can anyone translate that song that Rafa is singing and dancing to? The moves are easy to follow but wish I knew what they’re all singing!
I found this – no idea of its accuracy. http://bit.ly/srUPyZ
In the official video for the song, you can see the women in the crowd doing the same dance Rafa did. http://bit.ly/pI9fkI
Finally, here are Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo doing the dance. http://bit.ly/ukAgCn
So Rafa didn’t invent those moves – they came with the song.
