RafaLint: November 28th
There’s so much happy laughing RafaLint out there. I’m in a bit of a hurry because I’m doing my final prep for my trip to Seville. Feel free to add comments to this with links to more fun stuff you find. I can’t promise how much I’ll post while away – I have a city to see and The Armada to cheer for!
Anyone up for a super long Radio interview with the teams? Man, I wish I spoke Spanish. This article pulls a few quotes from the interview (mangle). And…you have to see the smiley photos. No, really. You have to.
Done? Okay. Let’s move on.

Videos:
- Practice video from Saturday.
- The Armada playing a game that looks a lot like the ones I watched the US team play in Austin. Seems like Marcel is filling in for Roddick in the junk grabbing. Oh, and Feli? Nice finger.
- Rafa warm up
- Rafa hitting (and I hope the Spanish bench is on the side of the net he’s hitting on…for selfish reasons).
- rtve report with practice footage. And another. How about one more? (thanks, Inés)
- Post practice interview
- iB3 report and the mangle of the text on the page.

Tweets about Rafa:
- Team Cuteness lost 4-2 at Playstation to Daveeed and Armada stringer Xavi: “After the first day of PS! The end result was oartidas won 4-2 to Ferru and I … Surprised? Vamooooos”. The winning team.
- Rafa had a late night (at least, I think night. The mangle says pm, but it seems more like he was saying midnight): “12 pm and our physios Luis and Julian are still working and Feli and Rafa recovering after a hard day. All equipment to top”
- Sebastian Fest tweeted a photo from his interview with Rafa.
Looking at how bundled up everyone is in the practice sessions, I’m starting to think my hoodie won’t be enough. *sigh* And…I still haven’t decided what lens to bring. Quality vs. reach…always a toughie. Oh well, need to get to sleep. It’s going to be a long day tomorrow! Looking forward to seeing some of you guys in Sevilla!

Thanks for the pic and video, brs and Emanuelle.
I wonder how Nalby feels about being relegated to the doubles. He’s wanted this for so long I feel kinda sorry for him and he played well vs Serbia, I thought. But Vamos La Armada, always!
Weird for Rafa and Pico having to play a close friend in DC but there are no friends on court. Tipsarevic convinced me of that when he knocked Djoko out of the YEC.
If you go to the Daviscup homepage, you will find a photo of Rafa there with the caption: “Nadal learns fate for opening rubber!” ,and Rafa looks like he has just learned, that his friend Pico has been substituted by the Djoker, who joined the Argies in a last minute transfer, lol! Like 2009, journalists compete, who’s going to photograph Rafa most tired, exhausted, gloomy, passionless with a nice little doomsday quote on the side, please!
I heard rumors from some people on this site that Rafa might have an injury (perhaps a knee injury).
Could you please provide links to the sources of this potential injury?

Hope Miri and other Rafa fans in Sevilla are having a blast cheering on Espana and get to see some trophy biting up close and personal.
Wouldn’t just be the best for Rafa to be victorious and bring home the trophy for Spain? The best achievement and medicine for Rafa going into 2012! It is being broadcast at 7am Sunday EST (Eastern Standard Time) – in Canada it is on Sportsnet One and Tennis TV in USA.
Here is link from atp site to show all the countries TV coverage:

Vamos Rafa – I hope he can hear us cheering him on from our living rooms all over the world!
Yes, am worried now didn’t read he had a reoccurying knee injury!!! he played so brilliantly against Monaco, was the Rafa of old, and he certainly needs to bring his serve and his focused self tothe Delpo match, sure Juan will be feeling it but for that reason he will take on every short ball, focus on HIS serve to shorten the points, this is a very important match forRafa, he mustn’t get tight!! Daveed was absolutely incredible in his 5 setter, a true heroe in his own right, so glad I got to see Daveed live this year, he deserves so much respect and from what I saw is loved by his nation likewise as is our Rafa..
Feli and Nando were not a match for Nalby and Swank yesterday, hope this spurs Rafa on to greatness.
Miri and all you lucky Rafa fans at Sevilla- You must be out of yourselves!
Arriba Espana! and
Bravo Bravo Rafa! Our boy is back!
Rafa reigns! Vamos Spain! Rafa is back folks:)
WONDERFUL RAFA, AND YES YOU ARE RIGHT HE’S BACK AND CAN ONLY HAVE A GREAT 2012. HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO RAFA AND TO ALL ON NADAL NEWS :-)
