DC: Let the boy sleep!

CC and Maria sent this in…and, seriously? So wrong. So very wrong. I know the poor hotel clerk was probably confused, but wouldn’t Rafa’s mom have his cell phone number? And radio people – no. Just don’t.

Basically, they called up pretending to be Rafa’s mom and asked to be put through to his room. Bee and Inés send in a transcription of the part with Rafa. It would have been a much shorter two word transcription if they’d woken me up!

“Yes?”

“Yes Rafael!!!”

“Yes”

“Hello Maria

Nic’s AO blog: Day one

Melbourne Park opens its doors at 10am, so my plan was to get there just before. Waking up was painful that morning after the activities of the previous day, and that very late bed time. I spent more than an hour going through my things before sleeping, checking the weather, OOP, planning matches to see, catching up with tweets, packing my bag and all the stuff I’d already accumulated by then. You can’t believe the list of things to do just to be ready for the day ahead. Especially fitting everything you need into your bag is a feat in

Nic’s AO blog: The unexpected day

Hi guys! It’s been a long time coming, but here’s my AO blog, finally done for miri’s awesome site. I know we’ve had a lot of down time to kill while Rafa’s been resting, recuperating, receiving awards, signing documents, making appearances, dancing on table-tops, etc., and I’m sorry I haven’t gotten this over to you earlier.
