So proud of my non-Spanish speaking self to follow along with what was going on…right up until about a minute thirty. Then is was just watching and enjoying.
Very cute! I didn’t catch it all either kefuoe …but it was great to watch. ;)
Here is a quick translation from 1.30 minute:
A moment to remember..
R.N: Fortunately, many.
A moment to forget…
R.N: Also many… Unfortunately, for sure.
Three things you would take with you to a desert island…
R.N.: It would be difficult to choose. I don’t even think about it.
What had you been if you weren’t a tennis player?
R.N.: I love sports. I would like to do something related to sports, always.
What do you want to do in the future?
R.N.: For now, to play tennis. I hope I don’t have to think about something else in the near future. I have not decided yet but… Anyway, I tell you again what I have just told you: I love sports and I would like to do something somehow related to tennis or sports in general.
R.N.: I love football, I love to play golf, I love to go fishing, I like to go to the movies… to go out with my friends…
R.N.: I don’t know… Montecarlo, Wimbledon.
R.N.: Wimbledon because it is a traditional tournament, it’s an special tournament, different to anything else… Montecarlo because I love the environment, the surroundings, the place. It’s different to everywhere else I have been. The sea is there… It’s a very clean city, Monaco is very neat country, and the truth is that I like to play there.
What does it mean to be young?
R.N.: For me, mainly is to be thrilled about things, and… mainly to be excited about doing things.
Anyone can have a bad day…
R.N.: Yes, of course. Little time ago I was driving my car in Mallorca and the police stopped me. Well, anyway I have my car insurance with Mapfre. And I trust Mapfre so much that I looked around and found out I had no copy of the insurance policy. They almost gave me a huge fine.
I’ve been right, I’ve done okay, right?
Yes, thanks so much sota. :)
Thank you, sota! At first I thought that was the translation for the whole thing, and I was confused because his answers seems so short and one-worded at the beginning. Then again, I am old and confuse easily. ;)
“What does it mean to be young?
R.N.: For me, mainly is to be thrilled about things, and… mainly to be excited about doing things.”
Oh, Rafa. Sweetie, you don’t have to be young to do that. ;)
He looks like he is wearing pink lippy!
Looks like pink lip gloss, yes. Not to worry, I’m sure we’ll have volunteers who will be happy to remove it.
It’s too pink!!!
And another thing… If Harley Davidson ever needs a new advertising approach, I would suggest a website where you go just to hear Rafa say “Harlay”
Adorable. Like there was any ever doopts about that.
Smooth and cute! thanks for the translation! I love him in white!against his tanned skin and um pink lips?
Rafa is so gorgeous here in his big sofa. Casual, clean curly hair, tanned, pink lips, snorty laugh.
Such a suitable, mellow song.
“please turn me on ..ooh ooh… give me a phone call …ooh ooh”
I’ve been listening to this via headphones all morning. His voice is quite relaxing.
wow, just had a small break in my day and listened to this…damm hix voice is mellow and sexy..love it!
As always thank you Miri for posting, love these profile type of things, love the bit about being stopped by the police. Even Rafael Nadal isn’t able to avoid being pulled over, I wonder what the outcome of that was. Does anyone know what the song in the background is, it suits the interview so well as it’s so mellow.
Thanks a lot, sota :)
*swoon* he is SO sexy here – despite the lipstick (yes, the only answer is to transfer it. Pink kinda suits me, Rafito). Just everything is right – hair, eyes, skin, voice, the V of his neck, those thighs…and the charm…
“muchisimos”…you tease (dammit, how am I caught by it anyway?)
What was the question exactly? Name of a woman, his mother’s name, favorite woman’s name? And he replied “many”?
Yeah I want to know that too. Maybe we should all change our names to Muchisimos ;)
