Rafa intends to play at Barcelona in 2011
Per this article (Google mangling), Rafa plans to play in Barcelona in 2011. With a change in the schedule, he can do so without playing 3 weeks in a row.

More video from the Barcelona clinic visit and what looks to be a report on Rafa’s upcoming tournaments.
TennisNow Fall 2010
The new TennisNow online magazine is out. Rafa’s on the cover as it’s their US Open wrap-up. Be sure to flip through it (despite the annoying auto-loading videos – seriously, I’ll click if I want to see it, don’t auto-load!) because there’s a wonderful photo of Rafa towards the end – as well as some thoughts by a guy who’s been photographing tennis players for years. You can find the magazine here.
Rafa/Roger Madrid exhibition promo site
Looks like this is the place to buy tickets for the December 22 Rafa/Rog exhibition in Madrid. (The English side doesn’t seem to be working.) Tickets go on sale November 1st at noon. Seems that they will also have “symbolic” tickets you can buy to donate to the cause. I’m so jealous of anyone who can go!
RafaLint: October 29th
Video of Rafa having hit – uploaded today, but not sure when it was taken. (It’s also shaky, so take your motion sickness pills first.) Thanks to Inés for tweeting. Different video from the same session.

‘Premio Alma 2010 Extraordinario’
No, I have no idea what ‘Premio Alma 2010 Extraordinario’ means, but it seems that Rafa’s going to be awarded with it. The Google mangling hurt my head. (Thanks to IsaRom for tweeting.)
Top 49 most influential men
Askmen.com has put Rafa at #15 of their list of the top 49 most influential men.
Rivalry? What rivalry? 2010 saw Rafael Nadal fully and completely emerge from the once-monolithic shadow of Roger Federer. With three Grand Slam titles this year alone — including his first U.S. Open championship, which made him just the seventh player in history to complete the career Grand Slam — Rafael Nadal cemented his spot as world No.1, and is marching full steam ahead toward Federer’s record 16
2011 Calendars
The new calendars are ready! Wait, calendars? As in plural? Yep. I made a version I liked and ran it by a few people. They felt the selection of pictures were too similar – torso up shots of Rafa practicing – and lacked action. So, I did a second version that included more action filled insets. This one seemed to meet with the approval of my testing committee. I decided to make both options available. So, here you go:
