I don’t think Rafa has to try very much to go deep. He is naturally gifted.

Queen’s is an embarrassment. But it is fantastic to be that close to the players, to pass them in the tunnels, to be relatively so close when they play and practise.

The SFs were bad last year. Bad, bad, bad. And the atmosphere was bad because nobody had engaged in a posh bunfight in order to see any of those players. I thought the atmosphere got much better during the doubles – lots of camaraderie where I was (and most of the remnants were posh, to be fair). But usually the tennis is nice and so is the environment, if not the attitude of the club.

*sigh* I will fork out another squillion pounds to those vile people, and hope to see His Lusciousness in 2011.

I said i was talking tennis, No? Otherwise…. i’ll haver verry high expectations for him toooooo;)

I think Rafa espacially confirmed this early to give you a chance to arrange the work, No? Means i’m devastated because as far as i know no confirmation for Rotterdam yet :(

I work on Wednesdays. And Thursdays. And Fridays.

And I always expect Rafa to go deep, in tennis and other leisure activities. ;)

A TAD snobby?! Understatement of the year. :D OK, I was maybe a bit harsh, but I couldn’t stand the fact that most people were there because they can afford to be part of a posh club, not because they were interested in tennis. Only a handful actually stayed to watch the only exciting tennis of the day, the doubles. Shame, it was a beautiful evening.

Its best to go the 3rd or 4th day then you are sure to catch him CC! why is it Godawful? okay its a tad snobby, but thats UK tennis clubs for you, part and parcel of why we have like no hard working disciplined tennis players in the top 100? speaks for itself.

Just some advice….
Don’t expect Rafa to go deep. Its right after RG and the boy needs practice but also his rest! Uuuuhm i’m talking tennis, right;)

Since he’ll have a first round bye as the no.1 seed the chance is big he’ll play first match on wednesday, No? If the weather is cooperating then wednesday would be a safe bet i guess! You might end up with watching a boring match tennis wise but i’ll doubt iff you’ll see something off the tennis anyway with Rafa on court;)

Arrrrghhh! Now I have to make a decision on whether to buy another godawfully expensive ticket to go to this godawful club to end up seeing godawful Feliciano Lopez lose to some godawful American I can’t even remember who it was. I really don’t know if I can stand another day at that place… However, if Rafa is there…the view really is quite nice.
