Rafa, resting at the back of the court with his team. As you’d expect, there was quite a crowd gathered to watch him. Suddenly, Rafa and co start to have a bit of a giggle to themselves. He idly grabs a ball, picks up his racket, and hits it over to the gathering masses.
Cue a frantic scramble to get their hands on this prized possession….one girl, holding up the Spanish flag, throws herself over the side of the court in her enthusiasm. A few moments later, they gather their belongings and off they trot, chattering 10 to the dozen in Spanish the whole way.

How come the guy in the overcoat isn’t molesting Rafa? Gee whiz. He’s close enough to play graba$$ with him.

Oh no… Apparently, Rafa had a problem with his gluteus maximus in today’s match at Queen’s… that would be his butt muscle.
Or his “famous ass”.
Oh no, I’d SO be that girl with the flag throwing myself over the side of the court in enthusiasm :S The first time I saw Philippe Chatrier court in real life, I was so excited I hit my head on the top of the taxi, fell out of the car and then slipped off the kerb…always good to look sophisticated in Paris. Do you think that’s so dorky that even Rafa would be disgusted?
Oh, Rafangel, that made me laugh so hard! I’m sure Rafa would have helped you up and maybe even dusted you off…while laughing…that would have made it so worthwhile, no?
He he. I was at the side of the court today. I can see me on this clip. LOL. Yep, the Rafa team were just sitting around having a chat when they started to hit balls towards the crowd. One determined fan did do a “slam dunk” over the boarding … unlike my lovely, demure, ladylike pal – Rafandready – who just retrieved one of the practice balls in a demure and wholesome manner.
