Rafa has got some awesome T-shirts. I like the new nike one with that flower to his left. Papa Nadal looked so happy. He is not able to take that smile off his face. Rafa must have been super tired after the match and after everything that followed (interviews, press, more interviews, dinner…)
Rafa apparently chose this place. That is what an article on the ATP website says.
““It’s a place I love,” said Nadal, on why he chose to celebrate his triumph at Disneyland Paris. “I often come with my family and I also intend to return very soon.””
And he also had rides on Pirates of the Caribbean” and “It’s A Small World”. :P
OK. If he chose it himself, fine. I hate rollercoasters. Someone would have to tranquilize me heavily and promise me a night with Rafa for me to go on one. And I still can’t guarantee that I would.
*shudders again*
The It’s a small world ride? My sister went on that when she was two! Oh, Rafa… :)
Oh, come on, anything for a night with Rafa… though it might be a little unanimated with you heavily tranquilized.
I think I should com along as your “understudy” ;-)
If Rafa didn’t get paid to do that, then Carlos Costa was napping. :-) But I’m sure he does come there with family, bringing the little cousins. Bet they all have a great time too.
Consider this: two of the most BSBG (a French equivalent of “posh”) persons in France, President Sarkozy and his singer-sognwriter/ex-model wifey Carla Bruni, also chose EuroDisney for their first public date and official photo op.
This is some kind of reverse thing: going for cheesy while being highbrow.
Rafa might not look hignbrow at the first glance, but he actually is. All that heavy philosophical stuff inculcated by Toni has to be alleviated by an occasional weenie ride.

Definitely awkward. And embarrassing.

Heh – the weenie rides. (I don’t like rollercoasters either so the times I’ve been forced to go to theme parks, it was 100% weenie rides for me too!)

Rafa looks happy, but being surrounded by life-size Disney characters waving their hands and cheering is like my WORST NIGHTMARE. Literally. 0_0
You and Johnny Depp
Just one of the many things I have in common with Johnny Depp.
I don’t mind the people, but I HATE the animals…I may see those giant rats in my sleep…
