Omg soooo cute and you must be so excited!
Looks like Tomeu is going along! That’s nice. He must be going to help Rafa as his hitting partner. Rafa’s looking handsome as ever, and very relaxed. Great quality video. Ah, looking at the Indian Wells footage from last year, really brings back great memories. For some reason, I really enjoyed that tourney, and of course because Rafa won, that made it all sweeter. Think it was because of the resort nature of that venue, seeing the players rolling around on that grassy patch near the practice courts, seeing Kate Walsh crushing on Rafa there, and Will Ferrel joking around. It was a great distraction from my crazy hectic work at that time. Can’t wait for IW to start. They’re actually going to show the Hit for Haiti LIVE on Foxtel in Australia. So excited about that! Vamos Rafa, you go boy!!!
Oh, and Maymo’s using an Apple lappy. Interesting :) He’s looking pretty fine too. Man, I can’t wait to see what new outfit Rafa will be wearing at IW. I just love to see him in new bright colours every few tourneys. It’s part of the excitement for me. Btw, looks like he takes his racquet bag with him as hand luggage? Pretty heavy, no? But I wouldn’t trust that going in the chute anyway, definitely would be a prime target for stealing.
I want to know how tennis players get the huge racquet bags in the overhead lockers.

Not I’m jealous of a racquet bag. To be sitting in the same first class cabin as Rafa and posse.
Ah, good to see Rafa back. I can’t wait to see him play again. :) For some reason, I have a really good feeling about IW. Maybe because he won last year, maybe because clay court season is almost here, I just have a good feeling about this. Vamos!

Oh, I’m sure I heard Rafa say that he went for a bubble in the garden hot tub when he woke up verrry early after arriving at IW last year. Just the thought of that has me in a bit of a tizzy. :D
He also went for a round off golf with Fracisco…
But “a bubble” in the garden hot tub can be part off my idea about how to pass time early in the morning with Rafa, deffinitly!;)

There will undoubtedly be golf clubs in there for the IW tourney! Didn’t he play golf with Neil Harman there last year which resulted in one of the best ever Rafa articles? Buena suerte Rafa! And please don’t put us through the pain of the having to see you save 5MPs again on your way to the final this year ;-)

Wasn’t IW last year the tourney where there was video of Rafa and Ana Ivanovic playing golf – or am I thinking of another tournament?

Yep but it was absolutely bloody brilliant though,(the Nalbandian match where Rafa saved 5 MP’s), only Rafael Nadal does such a thing!
The dimples are gorgeous here love that clip of him hitting in the bee sting yellow jacket, such a toned muscular back. Can’t wait for the haiti event!
Golf last year, I seem to recall he played with Nole and Fred Couples, golf pro. In looking at vid it seems to me Rafa is looking fuller around his face, not so gaunt as last fall. Go Rafa!
I love IW too. There seems to be so much close interaction with Rafa at that tourney. The classic 5 MP’s saved against Nalbandian was a real high. I remember seeing Jim Caveziel sitting with Roig and jumping up and down and screaming during that win. It was also fun to hear Freddie Couples talking about their friendship and what a good golfer he is (he said that Rafa even out-drove him once…Fred has always been well known for his long drives!). I’ve also noticed that his pressers are very fun at IT. I can’t wait for this tourney to start. I only wish it wasn’t so darned cold as I know our man likes to play in the heat. Oh well, he can handle pretty much anything.
