Rankings: March 1st

As Atch2 reminds me, the new rankings are out. Verdasco drops out of the top 10 after a brief stint and is replaced by another Fernando. Rafa’s zero points from Rotterdam have been replaced by his DC points. I’m not sure why, but I’m not complaining.

Pos Name Points Pos Moved Tourns Played
1 Federer, Roger 11,350 0 19
2 Djokovic, Novak 8,310 0 21
3 Nadal, Rafael 7,520 0 18
4 Murray, Andy 7,255 0 17
5 Del Potro, Juan Martin 6,265 0 20

Just noticed that Davy and Soderling played 27 tournaments! That’s 4 more than the nearest bloke. It sounds exhausting just thinking about it. I wonder if they’re one of the guys that complain about the length of the tour.

Good catch. Though I doubt they have complained because its helping their ranking. I think Davy is getting banged up lately or just wearing out from match fatigue.

Just when I think I have the point system figured out (on my compulsive little spreadsheets), something weird happens. But no complaints from me either…

    Confusing but yeah no complaints!
