Watching Rafa would be fun and educational enough for me, and learning to play tennis would be an extra bonus. Just seeing his facial expression photos during the haircut makes me smile. Also hope Rafa’s being himself, and no acting is required 

Thanks a million Miri! I was just reading the injury update tread and was wondering if they’re the same vids I’ve seen on YouTube. Gotta go now and “learn” some tennis!

    This might be off-topic:

Here’s a recent you-tube video of just the “forehands” of Nadal. A great compilation with several breathtaking signature forehands. Very nice compilation –

Awesomeness! I doubt this will do much to help my patented send-balls-soaring-straight-out-of-tennis-court technique, but at least it’ll be an entertaining failure. :) Nereis, if you hang around here – THANK YOU.

I really, really miss Rafa. Heal, knees, heal!

He he… I think you’ll find that we share the patent on the loopy over the fence shots! I specialise in sending them over the fence and into the hotel swimming pool ;-) Clearly I need to study these videos in depth!

        Hey aRafaelite and tms,
You might find a hottie in the pool! Sometimes I hit those shots on purpose if I see a sexy man in the pool! Oops, sorry, sir. Did I hit you? Oh, gee…now my shirt fell off…;)

Something tells me I shan’t pay any attention to the tennis techniques. Just looking at the photo collage has me in a tizzy… Hip roll, is all I can say. Hip. Roll. Mmmmmmmmm…

Thanx for the f/h video Jimmy it was awsome, I love the quote from Patrick Macenroe.
I remember Nadal saying that in A/O when he closed out that 2nd set with that round the net forehand winner, it was indeed special, but although not a running forehand, I absolutely loved that one he hit to save a match point, down the line one in Madrid v. Djokovic, and the roar he let out afterwards was just unbelievable, the intensity he brought to that match brought Djokovic to his knees!
How I miss that intensity and his remarkable fighting qualities that he has brought to tennis! Vaaamosss Rafa always!!!

I’ve just watched the first and last part of that set of tennis with Rafa and Toni commenting (I can’t watch the middle part for some reason). I thought that if I really concentrate and listen, I might understand what they say and learn something. All I learnt, however, is that Rafa really cannot sit still in that chair. He’s so entertaining.
