Some from today. Eventually I’ll have oodles of them full-size and with better processing on flickr…but that will be after vacation!

These are Magnificent! Thank you so much, Miri. And Happy birthday to you.
Great job what a way to spend your birthday – many congrats!
Fabulous picture :) Really glad that you got to see their victory. Love the Feli/Fer man hugs and chest bumps. Teehehee.
Hey I hope you took a photo of the flag boy. He may be the next Rafael Nadal in the future.
Luved the Ferrero toss. Great that they acknowledged the contribution of all team members who got them from the first round to this finals. And great seeing every team members coaches helping with the team preparations and celebrating together. That’s Awesome Team Spirit!
Also luved the ‘dunno’ photos. Rafa in his whites and banana moon shoes trying to look innocent.
That tiny lady reporter (Africa?) putting her arm in the dancing and singing circle in the last photo. Kinda dangerous, no? Thought she might get her hand sucked into the Armada vortex.
“Luved the Ferrero toss.”
Did they choose to toss him, because he is the lightes of all the boys? Or did they toss all of them? :)
Just Ferrero and Costa. The crowd chanted Ferrero’s name over and over until they got him up to say a few words (after some others had spoken). Then the team tossed him. :)
Probably to acknowledge what a big help he was in the QF against Germany :)
Thanks for these wonderful pics again! The one that makes you happy, does the same thing for me… :D
It looks like you’ve watched some practice as well.
Can’t wait to see the rest.
Thank you so so sooooooo much for your effort in not only going alone to Spain, but making sure we went with you in your stories & pics. Team espana should know the length of which you go to bring to us news of the DC armada & Rafa . I think I can safely say that all of us will be for ever grateful to you that this site exists. Happy birthday miri & many more great one’s to come.
Wonderful Miri,
Feliz Cumpleaños!! what a fantastic way to spend a birthday…wow!
Last night the Barcelona soccer team also won a great game, so the Ramblas must have been madness!!
and all for your birthday!!
Thanks for the great pics – will be ansiously awaiting the rest
Gosh, there are so many goodies here! The tummy one, of course. And Albert Costa trying (in vain) to get in on the Feliciano/Fernando love. :D
I love it that Rafa and I guess lots of other Spanish people always seem to give little kids kisses as well. That little girl must be like “Ewww…not that smelly, strange man kissing me again.” Guess if she’d been about ten years older, she would think differently! ;)
