Beautiful Spanish boys that wear their caps backwards make my knees weak!! ‘sigh’

  2. Mary says:

It’s so nice to see him on clay again. And I’m totally LOVING his shoes! I hope he’ll wear them for the matches!

  3. Courtney says:

Love it in general, but haaaate those yellow shoes.

    • miri says:

I’m guessing they were specially made for him for the Davis Cup: yellow and red.

      • Courtney says:

Oh, I know :) I just don’t like the color yellow AT ALL and I don’t usually like brightly colored tennis shoes (Nole’s red or smurf shoes, for example). I think they look tacky, especially against the clay. To each his own!

  4. mary says:

Neon yellow, taxi cab yellow, tennis ball yellow. Love em!!! At least his opponents won’t know if it’s a ball coming at them or a shoe!! lol

  5. Atch2 says:

Rafa must be happy back in Spain, on clay and with his team.

Anyone know what they said abt Rafa’s back in the 2nd clip?

Would like to see Nando practising as well to see how he is.

Yes the shoes are quite yellow. Maybe they r to distract the Czechs bec they are similar colour to the tennis balls?! Wonder if his outfit is going to be more yellow than red then.

  6. CC says:

Yellow shoes, huh? Don’t like mucho. I hope it’s just a one off.

Sounds like Rafa’s saying “no, no, no, no the back is not a problem”. Good.

  7. An says:

From what i can make off it he indeed says that he expects to not have problems with the back!

And… i love the shoes, for the occasion….

  8. nic says:

Whoa, those are some mighty yellow shoes!! Never seen Rafa with such strong colours dominating the whole shoe. Usually just flashes of colour and the base is more white. Oh well, it’ll be interesting to see what it looks like in combination with his outfit. Whatever it is, he’ll look fantastic in Spain colours I’m sure. All the best to La Armada this weekend!!!

  9. Emma says:

me loves the shoes! will go very well with the red and white attire. I think rafa is about the only one on the circuit who can take bright and flamboyant colors and still look cool and manly!

  10. fae7 says:

I love the colour yellow, its a positive colour, and anything bright looks great on Rafa, suits his vibrant personality on the court! he looks happier here, just hope this brings him some confidence (because of bringing the trophy home!)..

I’m excited about Red & Yellow, it’s very Spanish and quite honestly as long as they all play well enough to win I don’t really mind what they wear!!!!!
Go for it boys you know you can do it!!!!

Ooohhh, the smile at 0:24 in HD is lovely! I needed that to brighten up a cold and grey day here. Bet it’s sunny in Spain…
