OK I did a bit of a rant on the main match but I have to confess after watching his interview, I kinda of take a bit back. He said he played well but Novak was much better – playing unbelievable he has ever played at that level. So will have to accept that. I just wanted our Rafa to bit that trophey so much that I got completely mad at him when he lost!! C U at the 02 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
It isn’t entirely true that he was in the same form as yesterday, is it? ;-) Never mind, Djokovic really deserved that one, he’s turning into a great and mentally tough player, the latter being a newly acquired characteristic. He can take the pressure much better than in the past. So Rafa, do practice but focus on your weak points and think about mixing your game, please!!!
Rafa, ur English is improving way to fast for me.
But seeing Rafa ok with the loss makes me feel better, and he seemed like he was going to smile at some points.

I did the same, and was asking myself the same question as you, Atch2. But it could also very well be that we have realistic expectations about Rafa!

I think Rafa needs to work both on his return of serve,(deeper) and that his shots need more power and more purpose! Did anyone notice that one rally when Rafa went behind Novak putting him off guard and wrong footing him, it was a down the line fore-hand! he didn’t do enough of that, Novak was nervous at the beginning of the match, it was Rafa who settled his confidence by allowing him easy picking winners, I hope Rafa studies this match and learns from it!
