That audio presser! What a chucklehead our dear boy is—cracking a joke–you could almost hear how proud he was that people got it! VAMOS!!!!!!!!

And it’s a great joke. And serve and volley would defintely surprise Nole. But it’s true, they know each other’s games so well that it is down to the little things. But wished Rafa-Nole match was a Finals match.

Luved how the interviewer seemed to be waking Rafa up fm daydreamland int he vid “Rafa”!

What could I add that could top that. Rafael you said everything what I felt & thought. This may be the catylist for not just the end of the year & this tourney, but a springboard to next year.
Just praying now that you’ll find a way to shorten your rallies with Nole (winning rallies of course).
Keep up what you are doing & we will be doing all the stressing for you. Vamos mi amigo!!!!

  3. CC says:

God, I hope the interviewer gave Rafa a big, fat kiss for being so gorgeous! I certainly would have found it hard to stop myself.

It’s great to hear the words “I was there mentally all the time…”

    Love it all! Vamos RAFA!

So bloody adorable in the presser. I love the “serve and volley” comment and the journalists’ laughter, and Rafa’s too. Very pleased with himself hehe. Very interesting to hear what he said that he and Nole know each other (most definitely by now, considering the amount of times they’ve played really tough matches against each other this year), and it was interesting that he said tactics are only a small thing for tonight’s match, it’s whoever’s playing better who’s gonna win. I read that Nole said he was very tired and more struggling with himself than against the Sod in their match. Wonder how his form’s going to be today. Go Rafa!!!

Hahaha..serve and volley!..the best thing about it was that he sounded very serious when he said that but turns out it was a joke!:D

  7. An says:

    Dear Rafa,

Do you know what you’re doing whit my heart when i see and hear you so happy? You do know, No?

  8. Rafafan says:

Serve and volley – yes it was very funny joke but it’s a joke in a joke, coz that is what he is gonna do, he. he. At Tsonga he served wide and try to come to the net and volley.. Each time he won the point.

Rafa – we need your points shortened to stop us having a heat attack. Altho having said that you may wear Djok out who looks to be struggling. Serve ace, Volley and aggresive forehand please and step in the court. Wow weeeeeeeeeeee. Will be glued 1pm english time today xxxxxxxxx

Me too, hope to be able to see it on live streaming… Let’s hope he can at least maintain his new found level of play, even if he can’t beat djokovic it is important that he keeps this a close match at least. Vamos Rafa!

  9. Nana says:

Wish we can actually see the interview and not just listen to it… greedy me….

  10. Carol says:

Lovely difference to really be able to concentrate on Rafa’s voice and pick up on the nuances of tone etc even in English(usually partly distracted by gorgeous face etc). Also so great that he’s happy enough with himself to be able to joke…

And oh, how his English has improved over the last couple of years – but hope he never loses his beautiful accent and Rafisms!

VAMOS sweetest one! (I’d hug you if I could, but I can’t…)
