Hehe, sleepy Rafa. I saw that yawn!

It’s funny to hear the audience planning an attack strategy (because I’ve been in their shoes before.)

OMG… how he stays so cool under such massive intrest…

Heh, realy funny, we always make jokes about the Chinese people not able to pronounce the R propar ( sounds like an L to us ), sorry for that to all Chinese Rafa fans here ( we mean no harm! ) but i never realised untill now that i heard a Chinese girl say Rafa’s name and it realy sounded like “Lafa” ;)

    • Wendy says:

That’s because Rafa’s name in Chinese IS translated as “Lafa” :)

The letter “R” is very rarely used in the Chinese language, and is usually replaced with “L”. So it’s not that Chinese people can’t pronounce R, but more a case of the Chinese language itself making them into “L”s, if that makes sense :P

There’s that teasing of ‘flied lice’ and ‘fried rice’, now I understand why they sound like ‘l’ and not ‘r’. Thanks for explaining.

one gal did sound like she said lafa but when they shouted together it sounded like rafa
