HOTDAMN! 15 seconds in and I’ve fallen off my chair – I think it was the chest stroking that got me. ;)

    *resumes watching video*

was actually at :20 and a few more chesty hairs have grown since then. Oh I think I better turn the fan on.

Wow, seems like a really really long day….he’s a good sport. I’m always excited whenever I find a new article about Rafa, but I guess sometimes I forget how much time goes into all this publicity. Especially when you factor in just how many people want to talk to him and photograph him, etc. He’s definitely a hot commodity, in more ways than one!

  3. Delta says:

What a day for him! Looks as if each was his first presser, what a guy! Of course he looks fabulous in everyone! And again complementing Fed, always humble! “Serious,” too sweet for words”! NEVER a negative comment. Just PURE adorableness. Has always known how to handle himself, even @ that “tender age” with the “spotlight” surrounding him. Everyone recoginized the greatness & unforseen
potential, although had climbed rapidly, with growing legion of fans, press included! Will only improve…….

  4. Atch2 says:

Rafa has always been respectful of Fed, which I so admire, e.g., his comment “I don’t feel he (Fed) is better than me. That’s the truth. He’s better than me.”

& poor Rafa with the panda eyes at the end. Can we blame Carlos for this?
Lucky Rafa has the natural energy level of toddler on a sugar high.

Yeah, the amount of time they have to spend doing stuff like this looks to be not fun. But, if were him, I’d rather as much done all at once than have bits of it throughout the tournament. Perhaps that’s why there was so much on one day.

  5. Suzanne says:

It’s so funny to see the dichotomy of this guy…a monster on the court and Mr. Mellow Yellow off (well, maybe not when he’s playing on Playstation…lol). I hope that the interviews and pressers during the US Open Serious will focus on the positive and not pester him with the mundane, same ol’ same ol’…No matter, as long as he wins and stays healthy. I hope that the windy will be at his back and the scoreboard will be lit with “Winner…Rafael Nadal”.

  6. An says:

Heck… And yesterday we called him a bad actor? :) LOL

I would be totally grumpy after so much press AND it would show!

    • CC says:

Yeah, but this is not about acting, this is about a good upbringing. ;)

    • Carol says:

How old was he in 2006 – 20? How many 20 year olds do you know who’d conduct themselves with Rafa’s maturity and innate good manners? He is such a Gentleman in the purest sense of the word. My God, I’m twice his age but I’d be climbing up the wall after being dressed, styled, having cameras half shoved in my face, being asked the same old questions ad nauseam… Especially when his “job” is not some poncy celeb but a professional tennis player (and being the world no. 1 / 2!!)
Oh yes, and ooh those tight, tight jeans – if I’d been that famale interviewer, don’t think I could have concentrated ;-)

  7. CC says:

Wow, at 2:00 it looks like the woman interviewer is going to be eaten by Rafa’s legs… She doesn’t seem to mind. Who would.
And at 3:00 the jeans really are quite tight, no? Again, I don’t mind.

Rafa, we really need to have a chat about this Phantom of the Opera thing you have going on, though. I will explain to you what that musical is really about and then we’ll find you a better one to go and watch instead. OK? ;)

    • johanne says:

I was laughing/gawking at those 2 “leg moments” you’re talking about. Hot. ;)

      • nic says:

Hahahaha I noticed that too. How uncomfortably close was that for her. I mean, not that she would mind, but woulda been hard for her to keep a straight face like that. But the way she was listening and leaning in so much kinda was annoying. Seemed a little patronising.

  8. faecoleman says:

His quadriceps are gonna bulge outta those jeans aren’t they??? That was a great match when he beat Agassi @ The montreal masters, and the way he let the crowd embrace Agassi was again soo gracious, Rafa probably feels he has always been in the shadow while some other considered great gets the limelight,(I loved to watch Agassi thou). The music from Phantom of the Opera is beautiful, I find it quite interesting that Rafa likes it? I loved les miserables’ too, just my opinion of course.

    • CC says:

Looks to me like a few other bits are about to ‘bulge out’ of those jeans as well, no?

  9. Atch2 says:

Do u think we notice the details bec we are female or bec it’s Rafa? or both?

    • mary says:

It’s Rafa most definitely!, and us. That body shape alone has us addicted, then there’s that delicious face with those bedroom eyes (very flirtatious), charming demeanour, fighting spirit and all round good guy. I think I’m gonna faint now, excuse me. *faints*

      • mary says:

What woman old, young, married or single after knowing what little we do know could ever resist this manorcan stud!!!!!!!!!!!!!

        • CC says:

Thing is, though, I’m the only one in my circle of friends and family that find him attractive. Most people I know think he 1. looks like a girl (most of my friends), 2. looks like a monster (my mum), 3. would look nice if he cut his hair short (my dad) or they’re just generally not interested. Oh, the humanity.

          What’s “manorcan”?

          • Emily says:

It means that he is from Mallorca

          • nic says:

Yeah CC, quite a few people I know just can’t see what it is about Rafa that I find so attractive. I think he’s delicious!! What’s wrong with everyone else!!

  10. Emily says:

…sorry, that he is from Manacor in Mallorca :-)

    • mary says:

Thanks Emily. CC you said it, they don’t know anything about him, their loss. Thats why we can be Rafanatics on this site. My entire family think I’m nuts, I don’t care!!!! Apparently part of manorcan’s(actually it’s minorcan sorry) culture is to uphold their chivalry, courtesy and hospitality. That explains our Rafa
