Agggghhhhhhhh! My Rafa withdrawal is in full effect! Esp when I can see his panties in a pic like that! ;)

Supposedly we’ll hear some injury-progress news tomorrow. *crosses fingers*

oh gosh i think it was this pic that sent me into spin too a couple of days ago. withdrawal symptoms big time. so much pent up rafalove waiting for his return. i can’t handle this!! bring him back hotter and sexier and more determined than ever please!!

  2. faecoleman says:

Yep, crossed fingers I will too! All this waiting and contemplating is killing me.. It seems forever since his played. I only want to see him back well though, withdrawal symptoms are better than watching Rafa lose or worse in pain.!

I thought The Nadal team were going to prioritise his schedule so that he would play less masters? Rafa must be busting to play and regain his numero uno position. Maybe whats said publically and what he feels privately are two different things.

  4. CC says:

Right, so we’re meant to be finding out a bit more today about the state of his knees, no? And whether he’ll play the rest of this season, like Cincy.
I know Rafa likes to take his time with things, but if it says “later this afternoon” on his web page, then isn’t that like…NOW?! Otherwise it will be evening. ;)

    *taps foot*

I KNOW! It’s sorta reminding me of the Wimby press conference incident. :( But just remember – you cannot rush Rafa. That boy takes his time!! :)

      • CC says:

Heh, mañana, mañana… That’s what they live after in Spain, I think. But I am from the most punctual country in the world and now live in the second most punctual country in the world, so… how DARE he be late with his statement! Huh?! ;)

        • mary says:

It’s like nearly 2am in the morning here. How am I supposed to sleep while I’m hanging out for this news!!!!!!!!!!!. Please louise, need some sleep. Gotta know. I gave up smoking about 8 days ago and I am so stressed I wanna grab one now, but I won’t.

        • johanne says:

LOL my dad is Danish and he’s always early or on time, so I understand your Scandinavian punctuality. :) I, on the other hand, am a more hybrid breed. Give me a 30 minute window and I’ll show up sometime during the window. So I understand Rafa’s tendencies. IT’S JUST THAT I WANT TO KNOW WHAT’S GOING ON WITH HIS KNEES AND HIS MENTALITY!!!! AHHHHH!

          • CC says:

            Nice. Johanne is very Scandinavian.

30 minute window is fine. I am alway on time, though. Rafa would drive me mad, MAD!!! (Do I shout a lot nowadays?) He already does… (:

            • johanne says:

Something tells me you’d put up with Rafa. ;)

OK so not to speculate, but I’m totally going to speculate!! All this keeping the fans waiting is very Wimby-esque. I’m thinking no news = bad news. BLAH! I hope I’m wrong!

              • CC says:

I KNOW!!! I’m thinking the same: no news, bad news. Another Scandinavian trait, I am always negative. Hah. Seriously though, I’ve had such a bad feeling about this since Rafa lost in RG. Such a bad feeling. Pleeeaaase prove me wrong, Mr Nadal.

Um…BTW, I’d totally put up with him being late for everything. But only him. ;)

                • johanne says:

NO, not negative. Just realistic without any high expectations. There’s a difference!! :)

All I’d like to hear is that things are moving in the right direction, no matter how slowly. If that means he can’t play in Montreal or Cincy, so be it. I just want to know he’s improving! AGH! I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t be disappointed tho…I don’t know how much more non-Rafa tennis I can take!!! :(

                  • CC says:

I want to know that he is still up for it mentally, for training and playing and all. I think the knees will be fine with rest, I’ve always worried more about his mind. Don’t know why.

                    • johanne says:

I think mentally he is very very strong. But that doesn’t mean he’s immune to bumps in the road. I think this might be a bump in the road. But I will never doubt his drive or his commitment to the sport. There’s too much passion there, even if the intensity has indeed dropped a bit recently. Point is….I believe! :)

                    • CC says:

Definitely a bump. Wich we all have sometimes. He’ll be fine!!! Must. Be.

  5. mary says:

I’d like to think Rafa and I would be perfect together except I am as bad as him for being late. What a calamity we’d be.
I think he will go to both Cinci and Montreal if he can, specialist permiting. Start praying!!!!!!!

  6. mary says:

It’s official Montreal here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Straight from official website. Rafa you’ll be ready, we love you.

  7. Delta says:

Am with you Mary as I’m up late here in Calif. checking the latest Miri post & all the wise commentary. Always think of what Rafa doing as its +8h ahead, when fall off to dreamland, frequently He is in those dreams! Yes….. ); Like most of you I had counted on the whole summer watching Rafa dominate like last year, especially since I am limited from back surgery, I thought, “perfect timing”as that will distract my mind? ): Like as if? no? Being on Dilaudid only makes me more Mad for RAFA. Have decreased to a more mild opiate as improving, Thank the Lord! I want my mind sharp & focused on the tele to witness that incredible being); who has Captivated all of us @ those who never cared for tennis before):
    Go RAFA!!!

PS. CC ): Speaking of Rafa taking his time, the mind can only wonder? no? Okay enough… OOOhhh but its in harmless fun! Re; His taking his time, that is another one of his weapons, especially when he plays Fed. It is soooo Powerful! Even the crowd becomes silent as Rafa goes through his cute ritual before he serves, then he may throw out an ACE, which he has many more than previous years, and…..
then he unloads and Oh My is it ever awe exciting. ): counting down the days…
