Isn’t it amazing how natural he is? Just 15 seconds and yet you could write a novel! So natural, no extravagance and abundance of hair product. No distractions with flashing lights and outrageous props. Just..Rafa in all his glory.

Hey June how is your son ? Did he actually tear something or was it just a pull ?
Yes, Mim he is amazing to look at & I could stare at him for hours at end. He is so natural in his poses that he could be a model for sure, no? His hair is so beautiful — I wish he would do a commercial we could watch here in the US. Thanks for asking about my son, Sia — yes, he tore both his ACL & meniscus in his right knee & has to have surgery in a few weeks when the swelling goes down. He is so discouraged, but the good news is that his coach is going to let him “red shirt” the fall soccer season & he can play next year (so who cares if he’s another year older when he graduates, right)? Anyway, I bet RAFA is behaving himself better w/his mom than our son is at home w/us I keep telling him (of course Xisca is in town w/him I guess, not like our son’s GF). I pray RAFA doesn’t need surgery, because I’ve heard any kind of knee surgery is a b*tch & a long recovery period even if you’re young & in good shape.
So sorry to hear about your son. I hope after his surgery he heals fast. Very frustrating for both you and your son.
Rafa is incredibly natural in front of a camera. I wonder, if cloning was freely available I’d put my order in. One Rafa to go!
Or maybe he’ll donate to the sperm bank.

The translation more or less is:

June, in the past when I have had injuries the worst part is waiting for the surgery. Once that happens at least you know you are on the mend. I’m sure he’ll feel a bit cheerier then. Good luck with a young man at home for the summer ….
It is so hard when the mind thinks one thing but the body is having none of it … I’m sure Rafa is working hard at his recovery, but I bet he is not all smiles.
Thanks everyone (Mary, Sia, AnaR & Atch2) for the words of encouragement. Yes, that video was lovely & when RAFA smiles he lights up the whole room & I love to see him w/kids as he’s so genuinely caring. I’m sure he’s not a “happy camper” right now trying to heal his knees but I know he will be back to his happy-go- lucky smiling self. We always say that when someone has dimples that they were kissed by the angels & how he was! That’s so funny about little RAFAs walking around & cloning him — it made me laugh & my day today again :-)
There is a vid somewhere in YouTube of Rafa with this really young girl and he’s just amazing with her. Also Rafa with babies, cousins, strangers’ kids etc. He’s marvellous with kids. He’s the oldest cousin in his family after all and there are quite a number of kids in the Nadal family.
